For the longest time I have been telling myself I am going to make a site and stay on top of it. However, after working in front of the screen all day, the last thing I want to do when I get home is coding. I realize how important it is to have a personal site to showcase your work, especially if you are trying to get business and make a name for yourself.

I would always hate meeting someone and explaining to them how I can do all this stuff, but then have nothing to show for it. In the past I would send people to my site but then have to explain that it only has my older work. Or shuffle thru my iPhone library looking for something to show them. I want those days to be over.

I’ve gone this direction with the site so that it is something new for me. New name, new logo, new style, new everything. I want this to be fun and exciting.RaGz HoLLa has been my XBL gamertag for the past 5 years now. I chose it because it was funny. My nickname is Ragz and “holla” is just one of those words in my vocabulary that I say a lot just because it always seems to lighten a mood and there is just something about it that cracks me up. When I was thinking about where to go with the site I thought this would be a good name because it sticks and is different. Everyone has theirname.com and it’s just straight up boring, which is one of the reasons I stopped updating my site. Austinragno.com, blah, it has no impact or personality, which isn’t me at all. RaGzHoLLa.com is going to be it! It is going to be my work and thoughts brought to you, me holla’in, if you will.

I plan on using this format not only to showcase my work, but also my life. If I have a random idea or thought I want to talk about then expect to see it. If I seen a movie or played an iPhone game and want to share my thoughts on it, I will. Don’t get me wrong, the idea is still to showcase my work, but I also want to showcase my thoughts. I want to do this to keep it fresh that way I can always be putting up content for people to look at. This is going to keep it fun and exciting for me, hopefully it does the same for you.

This was the birth of my logo. It started as a simple “DoodleBuddy” scribble and evolved into a developed identity.
